Work

Lisa Szolovits is a Brooklyn-based director and developer of new performance with a particular interest in the relationship between digital and physical presence.

She has made work on the East Coast with New Georges, the Brooklyn Museum, Dixon Place, Trans-Pecos, Ars Nova, Forest Fringe, Columbia University, NYU, The Assembly,  Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Playwrights Horizons Resident Workshop, and in living rooms and on the internet, as well as with Echo Theater Company and Circle X Theatre Co. in Los Angeles.

Lisa holds an MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts (PIMA) from Brooklyn College and a BA in Theater from Occidental College. She's a member of the New Georges Jam.
